Our Founder
Muhammad Waqas Akram founded Setup in Oman with a simple goal: make company formation in the Gulf accessible, transparent, and affordable.
Waqas holds professional credentials including ACMA (Associate Chartered Management Accountant), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), and CAML (Certified Anti-Money Laundering). His AML certification is especially relevant — it means every company we form is structured to pass bank compliance checks on the first attempt.
Before starting Setup in Oman, Waqas spent years helping businesses navigate regulatory environments across the GCC. That hands-on experience is why our processes are faster, our documentation is cleaner, and our bank account success rate is higher than typical formation agents.
